Details of the SCOTT ADDICT 10
HMF carbon
The HMF carbon fiber is used when stiffness should be maximized and the weight kept small. This optimal material composition guarantees stiffness and strength for the best riding experience. The expertise of SCOTT engineers is used for the perfect coating in terms of alignment and fiber size. HMF fibers offer superior strength compared to industrial standards.
Optimized for performance
To optimally control power transfer, SCOTT engineers developed an oversized down tube and bottom bracket joint. The wide cross-section and smooth transitions allow for better load distribution and result in a laterally robust structure that increases pedaling power by effectively delivering energy to the drivetrain instead of losing it to unwanted frame flex.
Increased braking power
The Addict’s 160mm rotors provide increased braking power, improved modulation and added safety in all weather conditions. The Addict’s frame and fork have been optimized to accommodate the asymmetrical braking forces that occur when using disc brake systems.
