The Evolution
Downhill bikes are robust and ready to handle the wildest terrain imaginable. Whether you’re descending at max speeds, jumping over large gaps, or navigating tight and technical turns, you’ll love riding on a DH bike. The Santa Cruz V10 8 CC S Bike is the new generation of one of the winningest downhill bikes ever. The Carbon CC Frame uses 208mm of VPP suspension on the rear and 203mm of travel on the front. This new V10 features Reach Adjust Headset Cups with a -8mm, 0mm, and 8mm adjustment so you can dial in the fit, a Lower Link Flip Chip to fine-tune the geometry, a Rear Axle Flip Chip, MX wheel sizes for S – L and 29″ wheels on the XL, VPP suspension, internal cable routing, and integrated frame protection.
The S version of the Santa Cruz V10 8 comes with a SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain. With a 36T chainring up front and an 11-25T cassette on the rear, you’ll be able to accelerate to high speeds on the descents. SRAM Code Bronze Stealth hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend with confidence. Reserve 30|HD AL 6069 Rims are paired with Maxxis Assegai Tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. This will be the perfect bike for those who love the thrill of DH riding.
