Cross-country bikes are lightweight and highly capable of taking on tough rides and races. These bikes are perfect for climbing, all-day epic rides, racing, and much more. The Santa Cruz Highball 3.1 CC X0 AXS RSV Bike is the flagship carbon hardtail race thoroughbred, and a dark horse in XC versatility. The Carbon CC Frame uses 100mm of travel on the front and 29″ wheels that roll over roots and rocks with ease. The frame features a 27.2mm seat post for a smoother ride, internal cable routing, capacity for three bottle cages, a threaded bottom bracket, and clearance for up to 2.4″ tires.
The X0 AXS RSV version of the Santa Cruz Highball comes with a SRAM X0 AXS Eagle 12-speed wireless electronic drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-52T gear range that makes climbing and navigating difficult terrain much easier. SRAM Level Silver Stealth hydraulic disc brakes provide excellent stopping power so you can descend under control. Reserve 28IXC 29″ Rims are paired with Maxxis Rekon Race Tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats.
